JULIAN REDDISH COUNSELLING

Counselling for stroke survivors and their families.

Create a fulfilling life despite physical or mental health challenges

Counselling Can Help You Turn the Dark Days into Brighter Ones

When you’ve struggled with a mental or physical health problem or injury, you might feel like you’re trapped in a nightmare.

You’re afraid that you’ll never wake up.

Stress, anxiety and depression are your constant companions.

Day after day, it takes all the energy and willpower that you can muster just to function.

You try to rise above the emotional and physical turmoil.

You may use positive self-talk and hope for the best.

But, at times, all you feel is despair.

Sometimes you hate life.

You hate yourself.

You hate everything and everybody.

If this sounds like you, I get it. I’ve been where you are, and I’m grateful that I was able to turn my life around.

“I contacted Julian in hopes that he would help me on my stroke recovery journey. Julian has been nothing short of dedicated and supportive towards me. Julian has made me feel far more comfortable in my own skin than I was before we connected.”

Hi, I’m Julian Reddish, Stroke Survivor, Chronic Fatigue Survivor and Mental Health Survivor

Yes. You read that correctly.

I’ve had a lot of difficulties in my life.

I struggled with a diagnosis of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) in my teen years. These were lonely years because I couldn’t socialise much due to depression and exhaustion.

If that wasn’t bad enough, at the age of 17, I had a stroke while driving, which caused a car accident, and I’ve been recovering for 15 years from these injuries.

Despite my hardships, I’ve been able to turn my life around!

Although it’s taken a long time, I’ve come out the other side. I now live a full and rewarding life. I discovered my passion was counselling which led to becoming trained as a counsellor.

Due to my life experiences, my counselling practice is focused on helping people like you who have struggled for a long time and yearn for a more fulfilling life.

I work with people face to face and online who have physical or mental health issues. I have a unique perspective and interest in helping stroke survivors and their families because I am a stroke survivor myself.

You can be assured that I’ll understand what it’s like to struggle for months or years.

I’m caring, compassionate and intuitive. I’ll listen deeply to your struggles as we work together to help you improve your life.

“The first day I met Julian, I knew that I felt safe with him with my disabled son. Over the following years, my trust in him grew and he has counselled me a few times during and after his studies. I trust Julian wholeheartedly. I would recommend his counselling services to anyone without hesitation.”
